ABOUT Me

Hi, I am Evie!  I am a Community-Based Certified Full Spectrum Doula proudly  trained through HealthConnet One. Nationally recognized for training community health workers and birth equity advocates using evidence-based models. 

 I am passionate about the birth process, advocacy, sharing information, and supporting the birthing person, their partner and families. I started in labor & delivery and mother baby units in the hospital, assisting mothers through their birth journey as a doula. I am CPR certified through the American Heart Association 2024. On a personal note, I have a passion for foods I can juice and make smoothies out of; anything skincare and in addition to birth doula services, I provide overnight postpartum services.

I am a proponent of vitamin supplements for health, wellness, stamina, and beauty maintenance. Skincare, exercise, travel, art, and great food with friends and family is my happiness. I believe we have to remove the stressors in life to be at our best. My alone time is reading, research, and when not doing so, antique shopping.

I have a few hobbies that include restoring vintage coach handbags, furniture painting,  photography, making my own skincare body butters and facial oils. Gardening herbs and landscaping.

I love all kinds of music but can not get down to country music. While working, I prefer to listen to classical, jazz, or Spanish guitar beats but dance and workout to techno.  I love to sing Opera, the 80's-90's R&B, pop, and freestyle music. And fall asleep to the sound of the rain.

 I am interested in all cultures / religions and love to travel into the local areas to speak to and get to know the people of the land.

My birth Doula fees are comparable to most others across counties in NJ, however, your birth is unique, your wants, desires, it all matters. It may be that you have insurance that will cover birth doula  services. It is best to schedule a one hour consultation to best identify how you would like your desires fulfilled and if we are a match. Our first meeting could be in a in a tea / coffee shop, at a local dinner, in the library, a bookstore, a walk and even through zoom.
